About Us

The permanent research staff at Pharmasite Research consists of highly experienced investigators and study coordinators who conduct the clinical trials, and skilled psychometricians who perform a variety of psychiatric rating scales and assessments.

Alan M. Jonas, M.D. is a clinical investigator with over seven years of experience as a clinical research Investigator.  A Board-certified Psychiatrist, with sub-specialty training in geriatric psychiatry, Dr. Jonas received his B.A. from The Johns Hopkins University in 1967 and his M.D. from New York University School of Medicine in 1971.  Dr. Jones' professional experiences include internships and psychiatric residencies at various hospital centers and medical facilities including Dartmouth Medical School, as well as over three years employment with the U.S. Public Health Service in the Rural Health Service division.

Robert B. Lehman, M.D. is a Board-certified psychiatrist with over seven years experience in clinical research.  Dr. Lehman earned his B.A. in 1971 from The Johns Hopkins University and his M.D. from the University of Maryland School of Medicine.  He has had many years of practice in the psychiatric field including a psychiatric residency and a fellowship in child psychiatry at Sheppard & Enoch Pratt Hospital in Baltimore.

Surya Hejeebu Korn is a research manager who received her B.S. in 1989 from Towson State University.  She has more than 15 years of training and experience in coordinating clinical research.  Surya has earned Research Coordinator certification (CCRC), through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) in April 2003.

Christine J. Coogan is a research coordinator who obtained her B.A. in 1987 from St. John's University in New York and her M.S. in 1995 from Loyola College in Baltimore.  She has more than 10 years of training and experience in research, with more than four years of work in dementia, psychometric rating methods and depression.  Chris has earned Research Coordinator certification (CCRC), through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) in April 2003.

Toba S. Rudow is a research coordinator who received her B.A. in 1980 from the University of Maryland, College Park.  She has more than four years of training and experience in research, with a primary focus in HIV.  She is also a certified medical assistant with over 20 years experience in phlebotomy and patient care.  Toba has earned Research Coordinator certification (CCRC), through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) in April 2003.
