Treatment Resistant Depression

Treatment-resistant depression is generally defined as the continuation of depression symptoms despite treatment with at least one medication. This study evaluates the effectiveness and safety of an investigational medication or placebo added to an antidepressant.
 

You may qualify for this study if you:

  • have been diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)
  • have been experiencing symptoms of depression for at least the past 2 months.
  • are still at least partially depressed despite treatment with at least one medication.
  • are between 18 and 65 years of age.

All office visits, study related medical and psychiatric evaluations, and study medications will be provided to participants at no cost. Participants will be reimbursed for time and travel expenses.
